Our Beliefs

Guy Fox

Guy Fox - Lead Pastor - guy@venturecc.com

Guy is a California native who loves baseball, ice cream, and hanging out with his family. A graduate of Pacific Christian College, he has traveled all over the world on mission trips, but has never been to the Grand Canyon. He is married to Kathy, the woman of his dreams, and with three boys, their house is rarely quiet. When not coaching his boys or cheering on the Chargers, he is probably scheming how to get rid of the family cat, Samantha. After 14 years in Youth Ministry, God called Guy and his family to Murrieta to plant a great church with many great people like you. He loves reaching out to people with the love of Jesus and would like to meet you some time soon.

Shawn Hill - Worship Director - shawn@venturecc.com

Shawn has been serving in worship ministries since junior high school. After moving to the Inland Empire, Shawn and his family found a home at Venture Christian Church. He is humbled to use the talents God has given him to serve in the Murrieta community. Shawn enjoys bringing passionate believers together in song to glorify the King of Kings (that, and surfing) He never imagined God would use him in this way, but feels blessed and thankful that God has chosen him to serve as Director of Worship at VCC. Eph. 3:20

Luke - Youth Pastor - luke@venturecc.com

Luke came to Venture in September of 2014 after spending over 3 years as a Student/Worship Pastor in Seattle, WA. Luke grew up in northern California for most of his life and ended up graduating with a Bachelors in communication from Simpson University in Redding, CA. He is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity in Philosophy from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Luke is passionate about leading young people to be sensitive to God’s leading and calling on their lives. When not at church you might see him cheering on the San Francisco Giants, playing and writing music, playing 18 holes of golf, or exploring new restaurants. Luke has been married to his lovely wife Sarah for just over 2 years and is excited about being a part of what God's doing at Venture.

Jeff Faulkner - Elementary Children's Pastor - jfaulkner@venturecc.com

Jeff, a California native has been involved in Children’s Ministry for over ten years serving at churches in Orange County California and Perth, Australia. He graduated from Hope International University with a degree in Children and Family Ministry. Jeff became a Christian when he was 6 years old and that’s why he has a passion for creating fun and interactive environments for children to learn that they have a God that loves them and knows them by name. When not at church, Jeff can be found cheering on the New Orleans Saints, eating Italian food, or playing board games. His favorite Bible verse is Joshua 1:9, Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
