After the busyness of summer and the craziness of getting the kids ready and back into school, we are excited to get back into women's ministries. First on our fall calendar is the resumation of our women's Bible study. This study meets on Wednesday mornings, and will begin on September 9, at the Venture Christian Church. We meet in the second floor classroom from 9:15-11:30 and excellent childcare is provided for a minimal charge.
All are welcome to join us this year for "The Challenges of Womanhood ll" Bible study series written by Diana Schick of Creative Living International. We will look at 17 Old Testament woman, including Rachel, Deborah, Delilah and Naomi and 7 New Testament women, one being Mary Magdalene. Topics addressed in conjunction with this study include "Unfading Inner Beauty," "Rising Above Rejection," "Bringing Out the Best in People," and "Freedom From Vanity." Each year we experience new growth through our study, and encouragement and strength as we gather together each week.
If you want to get into God's word and get connnected with other Christian ladies in your community, this is the place for you. Our morning also includes fellowship and fun, a light breakfast and care support.
