KidVenture is where kids of all ages Discover, Experience and Share God’s love. It’s always an adventure with friends, great leaders and the fun creative ways your kids will learn Bible truths. From Nursery to 5th grade a welcoming and safe environment is one of our highest priorities.
ADVENTURE ISLAND/BLAST JR.
Here at Adventure Island we take special care of the littlest ones. Our nurseries are well staffed with the most caring loving people and are well equipped with all the needs of these precious little ones. The same goes for the two and three year old program and the four through kindergarten program. Adventure Island is full of music, games, crafts, stories and activities that share how important each of them is to God
Nursery: Infants to Toddlers (downstairs)What you should know Make sure your child is healthy. Children who have any symptoms of illness are not admitted into our nursery facility. Please label all of your child's belongings. What to bring Please bring the following in a diaper bag:
Check in and out Please sign your child in and fill out a quick reference information card for your child that lets us know any special needs. You will receive a pager with a number. In the event that your child is crying inconsolably or we need to reach you for any reason, we will page you. The pager has indicator lights and a vibrator to alert you. Please keep it close to you so you can feel the vibration when it goes off. For your child’s safety, your pager is also your claim ticket to pick up your child from the nursery. |
2 -4 year olds (downstairs)
Check In and Out To ensure that the check-in and check-out process is secure we use a matching hand stamp system. The parents and the child’s hand will be stamped in invisible ink with a matching number. The numbers can only be seen under a black light. This is similar to Chuck-E Cheese. This ensures that the child may only be picked up by the parent with the matching hand stamp. Please be patient as it can take a few minutes to get through the line. Also, remember that no parents are allowed behind the counters unless they are volunteering that day. BLAST JR. K-1st grade (downstairs)
Check In and Out We use the same hand stamped invisible ink with a matching number method described above. It's not a bad idea to get there 10 minutes early if you have multiple kids to check in. |
BLAST/ALIEN PLANET
BLAST 2nd-5th grades (upstairs)
Blast is just what it sounds like...a “Blast” for kids and their friends to be at! Lets face it kids love to have fun. We believe that fun is God’s idea. So at Blast we make sure that we are having fun while kids discover, experience and share God’s love. When you “Blast” something it makes an impact, and that’s exactly what this children’s program will do. It will make an impact on your kids while they’re having an outrageous amount of fun. Blast contains, high energy, music, games, multi media, plus large and small group interactive teaching to communicate God’s truth.
WEDNESDAY ALIEN PLANET: 4th-5th Grades
This special preteen ministry is designed specifically for our 4th and 5th grade kids. They are the most targeted age group by the television, music and consumer marketing industries. They are no longer little kids but not quite teenagers. This program is designed to help them face the challenges around them using solid Bible truths. At Alien Planet kids learn that while we live in this world we do not have to conform to it’s standards but rather live by God’s. The name is taken from 1 Peter 2:11 which reminds us that we are only foreigners (or aliens) in this world and that we are to lives in a way that stands out and glorifies God. Each Wednesday at 7pm we participate in outrageous team competitions and events, cool music, small groups and a Bible study that makes sense to 4th and 5th graders. Plus special field trips, theme nights and camps.
